The XL room felt very bare and simple for the high price. There was no decoration, and the furniture looked old-fashioned. The low bed and mattress need replacing, especially the mattress. The window let in good light, and the kitchen was useful, but they supplied coffee capsules without sugar, and there was no soap, dish sponge, or batteries for the TV remote. The bathroom was spacious, though the shower itself was tiny and oddly laid out. Check-in was easy, and they provided water and beer. It's a quiet residential area, but there's not much to do nearby.

I loved Hamburg, but this hotel felt like a scam for the price. The furniture was completely outdated and it didn't look like the website. The bed was so uncomfortable and noisy, and the fridge made a lot of noise too. Worst experience ever.

The staff made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The reception ladies were warm, kind, and quick to help, and the cleaning staff were friendly and made sure the building and apartment were in good shape. Service was amazing. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space for even large luggage, and a generously sized bathroom. It's also in the city center, with shops, train stations, and a park all within walking distance. We moved to Smartments business Hamburg weeks ago, and I'm really glad we chose to stay here. My only suggestion would be to add a playroom or play area for kids.

The apartment itself was very clean, looked new, and everything worked. It had a comfortable bed, a nice kitchen with a microwave, two cooking plates, fridge, dishwasher, boiler and nespresso, plus a clean bathroom. The WLAN was very good, and the TV that swivels around was fun. There's also a lift, washing room, and lounge. I liked having keypads on both the front door and apartment door, which made the place feel safe. Getting around was easy: it's 20 minutes on foot to the railway station, five minutes to the bus or tube, and 10 minutes to a supermarket, restaurant, and the Alster-Channel. Even so, the residential area was quiet. Staff were polite and informative, answered within a few hours, and check-in and check-out were very easy. I was given an apartment on the ground floor, or perhaps the basement floor, and blinds would have been nice there. The kitchen could use one or two more kettles, and I missed having a small broom for crumbs. Most of all, I couldn't figure out where to take rubbish, especially recycling. Please provide that information.
