Hotel Panorama Harburg

The staff were always nice, friendly, and very helpful. The place isn’t the most modern, but it’s totally fine, and I’d recommend it. I had a double bed to myself, so I appreciated the extra space. The bathroom was nice and had a hot tube, and there was a fridge and enough storage. The bed felt a little hard, though that depends on what you’re used to. Breakfast covered the basics, with filtercoffee but no coffee machine.

The bakery right across the street is amazing, and otherwise the hotel was okay, cozy, and nice. I didn’t have anything truly bad to say about the room, though it felt a bit crowded with the bed in the middle. You can’t switch off the light from bed, so you have to use the switch by the door and walk all the way back, which is kinda weird. Service was anemic. We checked out and drove all the way to the gate before realizing we needed a token or coin to leave the parking lot. No one had asked if we parked there or told us we needed to pay and get the coin. A simple question as you leave, “Have a good day, by the way, did you park here?” would’ve helped.

We stayed in December for the Christmas Markets, and the whole experience was not nice. The hotel’s bar and restaurant have been closed since covid, something easyjet didn’t tell us, even though it still advertises them. There was no kettle in the room for a hot drink. We were told to go to the vending machine 5 floors down. Please avoid.

The best parts were the friendly service and generous breakfast buffet. Hotel Panorama is a good option for an overnight stay, with spacious, clean rooms. The furnishing is average and the rooms look dated, but the bathroom is quite modern.
