There’s parking behind the building, and I’d probably stay here again. The hotel is cute, on a pleasant little street, and the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was generous. The rooms each have their own character, some with odd window glass, others old-fashioned and cozy. We could occasionally hear the people above us, but it wasn’t a big deal.

When I’m in Hamelin, this is my choice. The owners are very helpful, the place is warm and comfortable, and there’s safe, secure parking right in the heart of town. They have a great understanding of English.

Good value, I booked a 3 bed room with breakfast for less than € 60,- on booking.

The bed was super comfortable, with an adjustable electric mattress, and the rooms are furnished comfortably to suit the old town feel. I’d recommend reserving a parking space. Breakfast is simple, with enough to fill you up: standard cold cuts served at the table with a rat-themed touch, plus fruit and muesli. I’m giving it 4 stars because breakfast isn’t a buffet and there’s no restaurant. Drinks are always available, though, and there are places to eat nearby for everyone.
