The breakfast selection was limited, though the products were good. The yogurt was the best we tried in our 20 days touring Europe. We stayed in one of the suites at Alter Packhof, with a sizeable room, comfortable beds and a bathroom, but it was so hot that getting proper sleep was difficult. The location by the river is fine, in a very small old city where medieval houses are still standing.

Parking was easy, and being right in the city center was perfect. The staff were amazing, professional, and the hotel exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was delightful and had a great variety. Highly recommend!

The old-town location means there’s plenty to discover, and you’ll likely be surprised by the town and love it. The room was clean and quiet, parking at the hotel was easy, and the staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast was so good it made up for having to get up. It felt worth every penny.

Hann. Münden is a must-see. I hadn’t been to such a well-kept medieval German town, and the surrounding area was great for hiking and other outdoor activities. The hotel is beautiful, with cozy but spacious rooms, a great breakfast, and extremely friendly, attentive staff. I definitely recommend staying here.

The rooms were quiet, clean, and very nice. We could see and hear the Weser River from them, and the hotel let us use its parking garage for our bicycles for free. It’s just inside Die Alter Stadt, though construction was happening right outside. The receptionist was overly assertive, nearly rude, and shouted. Corona precautions meant we couldn’t have breakfast at 8 am and had to come down an hour earlier. We also had to ask several times for what we’d ordered, while staff had plenty of time to chat instead of serving guests.
