The food was 10/10, and everyone was so polite and friendly. It's a great place for traditional German food, with plenty of vegetarian choices on the menu.

We stopped for lunch and were surprised by how good the vegan options were. The service was lovely too. We'll be back.

Finding vegan food in the German countryside can be tough, especially food that's actually delicious, but this place was a wonderful oasis. It's beautifully styled, in a lovely countryside spot near a wonderful Abbey and stunning landscapes. The decor caught my eye first, with a country chic look that didn't feel like it was trying too hard. Even though the restaurant was completely full, the staff were friendly and nothing felt stressed or out of place. The food was top notch, the kind of thing that wouldn't feel out of place in Berlin or London. The drinks list had lots of interesting wines, cocktails, and beers too. Really brilliant.

I haven't had a food disaster like this in a long time. It started with an unfriendly waitress, then none of the food had any taste, or it was simply inedible. The menu was bizarre, with mezze, penne, and schnitzel all together. The decor was just as mismatched, with tacky bottle pictures on one side and a Moroccan lamp on the other. No talent or idea behind any of it, and no taste. Never again!
