Fachwerk-Hotel Eisenbart

The town is lovely, and the hotel has a great atmosphere with nice staff. It’s a beautiful hotel that’s been newly restored. Breakfast was a bit boring, though, and the scrambled eggs were quite dry.

Dinner was great, especially the delicious pizza, and breakfast was good too, with sandwiches and eggs, though nothing special. The shops are right on the street, and the place feels cozy and welcoming. The heaters work perfectly, the windows are good for ventilation, and there’s private parking. The toilet and shower were clean, but it could use a bit more cleaning under the bed. It’s inexpensive, and I’ll definitely be back.

We stayed one night while on our Weser bike tour. The hotel is a beautiful historic half-timbered building on the edge of Hann.-Münden’s old town. Our rooms were well-equipped, with modern bathrooms, and the courtyard has two bike garages with battery charging. Dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast buffet were both very good. The staff were friendly and service-oriented.

We loved room number 4 in this beautiful half-timbered house. It was tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean, with comfortable mattresses and pillows just right for us, so we left our own pillows in the car. The bathroom was also immaculate and like new, and the shower was a good size. There’s a step down into the bathroom, so watch your footing. The mirror was mounted rather high for me. The room and bathroom were cleaned every day, which I think is how they maintain such a high standard of cleanliness. I booked directly with the hotel well in advance, and they were friendly from the start. We stayed three nights. For parking, we chose a public lot and paid a reasonable daily rate directly at the hotel. Breakfast was a buffet with a good selection, though it didn’t vary much during our stay. That may be because most guests only stay a few days, but we still started each morning satisfied. The plants in the breakfast room could use a little more care. All the staff, including the owners, were consistently very friendly. We can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
