A budget hotel.

The city-center location was a plus, and breakfast in the church across the street was nice. Rathauskeller is also well worth a visit for its excellent home-brewed beer. The room itself was rather bare and noisy, facing the street, and there was no Wi-Fi. We apparently arrived late, since check-in was meant to be by 7:00 PM. The presumed owner was quite unfriendly when greeting us, and there had also been a booking problem despite booking through the hotel website.

Breakfast across the street in the church was the standout for us. We had a ground-floor room at this charming hotel, which is in a uniquely central spot. We’d definitely book here again next time we visit.

The staff were warm and friendly, and breakfast had a fresh, good selection in a pleasant setting. The unusual part was that it was served in the church across the street, which made for a lovely experience. The hotel itself is beautifully renovated and sits in the old town. Highly recommended.
