There’s a garden with shared furniture, a fireplace, and a playground for children. The house itself is 80 m2 across two levels, with three bedrooms for up to six people. Inside, there’s a living room with a winter garden and Swedish stove, plus a fully functional kitchen. A 10 m2 balcony and furnished terrace look out over the mountains and valley. It’s in Unshausen, 3 km from Wabern; shops and a supermarket are around 3 km away, and the bus stop is 1 km from the house.

The Google Maps marker points to the wrong building. It belongs at Heide 21, rather than Heide 23.

At night, mice gnawed and scratched behind the wooden paneling on some of the interior walls, so you have to get used to that. Outside, the main road was almost always really loud, like living near a motorway. Otherwise, the bungalow was beautiful and very clean, comfortably furnished, and in a truly magnificent location. It had a large garden with a playhouse, and the landlord was friendly. Everything went smoothly and without any problems.

The directions were poor, but the house was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We stayed for a week and would definitely book it again.
