Breakfast was decent, with a good range of continental meats, and the showers were very good. The room was a good size, though the floorboards creaked. Wi-Fi barely worked in the room, and I could only get an adequate signal by the door. Just one staff member spoke English. Still, I think I'd stay again.

We stayed for four nights, starting the day after Walpurgis Night. The room did the job perfectly well, even if the hotel as a whole feels like it's still in the 80s. The owner was super friendly, and so were the other employees whenever we actually saw them. The food was okay, nothing special. It's a perfectly adequate place if, like us, you're spending the day out around the Harz Mountains and just need somewhere to sleep.
