It was a decent enough stay. There’s no physical key, just a code for getting into the building and your room. The hotel isn’t in Heidelberg city centre, but the tram stop is a five-minute walk away. Parking costs 10 EUR per day (as of December 2025). The room was only okay, and the shower drain was partly clogged so water wouldn’t run down. We also needed more storage in the family room. I didn’t like how much the hotel pushed its green washing.

We came back to Heidelberg after leaving 20 years ago, and it was lovely to return each night to a clean, safe room. The location is perfect, and there’s a parking lot on site. I’d definitely recommend it.

B&B Hotel Heidelberg was clean, comfortable, and well organized, with a convenient location. The staff were welcoming and professional, and we had a very good stay.

The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the room was big, clean, and nicely arranged. The people were nice too. Lighting is the main drawback: one side of the room is quite dark. The black curtains also mean choosing between total darkness and having less privacy. That was the only thing lacking.

Check-in was simple, and you don’t have to check out, which is handy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, ready to help with questions, and the clean, modern room had air conditioning and soundproof windows that made for a restful night. It was a little small, though. B&B Hotel Heidelberg is in a convenient spot, about a 10-minute walk from the train station and close to the city center. A good option for a comfortable stay on a budget.
