Our family of five had loads of room in the two-bedroom suite, and we loved every minute there. It felt like we were residents of Heidelberg. We walked to a local bakery and a restaurant a few blocks away, and Old Town and Heidelberg Castle were an easy 25-minute walk. The building was quiet in the charming family neighborhood of West Town, and the furnishing was impeccable. The bathroom toiletries, stocked kitchen and electric blackout shades all made the stay comfortable. They'd also left wine, soft drinks, sparkling water and chocolates in the room. We'd been excited by the gorgeous online photos, and the actual place was even better than we hoped. We'd love to return someday.

The staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful. When I had to move rooms while I was away, the person in charge moved all my things carefully, despite the heavy lifting, and still left me a very courteous letter with instructions. The rooms are beautiful, with modern furniture and high-standard electronics. There's lots of space, and I really enjoy staying here for longer periods. With the windows closed, it's quiet even though traffic and trains are nearby. Good restaurants are on the same street, about a 7-10 minute walk away. The corridors smell lovely and give the building a luxurious, comfortable feel. The only annoyance was beetles flying in when it was hot, though apparently they've made all of Heidelberg their home.

We spent three nights here over New Year's in the Stockholm Suite, which was absolutely perfect for anyone with kids. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the stylish, comfortable suite had a fully stocked kitchen. It's in a quiet, charming neighborhood, a brisk walk or tram ride from the center. We had a truly great stay.

We spent a week in Heidelberg, and this place fit our needs perfectly. High quality, very quiet rooms, everything we needed, and a helpful host. The location worked well too.
