SEKRA Stadthotel

I spent several weeks here for work in Herbrechtingen, and the rooms are great. One issue is that the parking lot is usually full if you get in after 8 pm. I also don’t think the heating gives off enough warmth, if it heats at all, but I always bring a 2kW electric heater with me 😉.

The hotel is new and modern, though it’s a bit out of the way from Heidenheim city center. I stayed in a standard room on a business trip. It was very clean, and the breakfast was excellent, with fresh food and a good selection. Some rooms have kitchenettes with a refrigerator, microwave, and so on. There’s a large parking lot.

The rooms were spacious and tidy, with a beautiful view, and the hotel itself is modern and very nice. The area was clean and quiet, and breakfast had a great variety. We booked three rooms for seven people through booking.com, but got confused about the room allocation. Since there’s no one physically at reception on Saturdays or Sundays, they provide an emergency number for questions or problems. Caroline, the woman who answered, was very helpful. We’re very happy with our stay, will definitely come back, and highly recommend it!
