The room had been renovated, and the bed was really comfortable. Staff were friendly and knew their stuff, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was solid. Just what I needed on the road. I’d happily recommend it.

I got a booking confirmation on Friday for a stay I hadn’t booked. When I called, I found out another guest had the same name and used the wrong email address. I politely asked the hotel to send me a quick note confirming the mix-up so I could ignore the confirmation in my name. They brushed me off and hung up.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, and breakfast was excellent. The place also felt cozy and welcoming, with clean rooms and lovely decor.

Being so close to the Autobahn makes this a convenient place to stop near Ingelheim. There’s enough parking, and the rooms have ventilators for summer. Some share a WC and bathroom, while a few have their own.

If smells bother you, I wouldn’t book a room at this motel. There was a cigarette smell as I was about to enter the building, and the otherwise clean room had cigarette and mildew smells in the towels and linen. Bring your own hygiene kit too, especially shampoo and bath soap.
