An accident meant we had to cancel our Heligoland trip eight days before departure. We were charged the difference between the 80% deposit and the 90% cancellation fee. The 90% fee may be technically correct, but when we asked for some goodwill and to share the cost, the answer was promptly no. That kind of treatment doesn't help attract customers. We still want to reschedule our trip to Heligoland, but definitely won't stay in one of these accommodations.

A wonderful island, lovely accommodation, very friendly hosts, and a helpful reception. We were very satisfied and would love to come back. Thanks so much for your time.

The apartment was great, and the service was very friendly. Best to reserve a restaurant table ahead of time, since many places are already fully booked.

We had good weather, the apartment's location was okay, and the whiskey tasting at HelgoHeiner's was great.
