The pool was clean and nice, and the restaurant looked well equipped, though we didn’t eat there. Our apartment for five felt modern and tidy, with tasteful decor and really comfortable beds. The beach and the town’s Main Street were both about 400m away.

We had a good stay at Seetel Ostseeresidenz Heringsdorf. It’s one of the best places you could visit.

The room itself was okay, but we were so disappointed that we left a day early. We’d paid for a holiday that we didn’t enjoy. I’d chosen a hotel with a pool because of the weather, but the water was so cold my child was shivering with blue lips after five minutes. That should have been stated in the offer. Outside, icy patches made it nearly impossible to walk, even getting out of the car in front of the hotel was difficult, so we felt stuck inside. Shopping wasn’t within walking distance either. The arrival went fine, though reception staff weren’t very friendly. We were assigned a numbered space in the underground garage, which wasn’t cheap, so we expected things to work smoothly. After shopping, we came back to find a strange car parked in our space with no ticket. Reception said they didn’t have its license plate recorded and didn’t know who it belonged to or where it came from. The same receptionist told us to use another parking lot.
