The area was quite nice, and being just a short walk from the sea was a real plus. Still, the apartment wasn’t what I expected from the description. There was no microwave, and the wording about a living room and a separate bedroom felt misleading. In my apartment, a door separated those two rooms, but the sleeping area in the kitchen-living room was only marked by beams on either side. It wasn’t a separate room. Watching TV was almost impossible because the signal kept cutting out.

We stayed in Ahlbeck in July 2025 and really liked the apartment we booked. It was right on the main road, but that didn’t bother us. The furnishings were quite adequate, with a double bed and a kitchenette that had a toaster, coffee maker, microwave, and more. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back :)

I stayed on Usedom in May 2023 and again in 2025, booking through Booking.com both times. The apartment is centrally located, and the beach is a 10-minute walk away, with shops about five minutes away. Getting in was simple: you collect the key from a coded lockbox on site. Parking is behind the building or, alternatively, 300 meters away by a bike rental shop. The entrance is there too. On my first visit, I had the ground-floor apartment. It was a clean, functional place for two, with a combined living and sleeping area, a kitchenette stocked for self-catering, a double bed, wardrobe, sofa and chairs, small table, and flat-screen TV. The bathroom was in the adjoining interior room and had a shower, hand towels, and bath towels. The furnishings were simple and modern, and everything was spotless. I felt more comfortable on that first visit and give it a thumbs up and five stars. The 2025 apartment was on the first floor, smaller and not as nicely furnished. I wouldn’t book that one again. A strong cleaning or renovation product smell filled the upstairs hallway, and I could smell it every time I went to or from the apartment. Wi-Fi is available but slow, and you can rent bicycles outside the building. I rate this 2025 visit five stars.

The location is good and the beach is easy to get to, though the street noise shouldn’t be underestimated. The apartment was clean, the beds were fine, and the price felt reasonable for what you get. For three people it’s too small, and the dining table only has two chairs. The second bedroom has just a bed and a tiny table, even though there’s room for a small chest of drawers. There’s no bathroom window, so you have to air it out through the kitchen. Also, the advertised microwave wasn’t there.
