Villa Bergfried

My doctor put me on bed rest in week 30 of my pregnancy, so we had to cancel the booking. I explained what had happened and asked if they could make an exception, but heard nothing for five days. Then they said they couldn't help us and needed to stay financially viable. We understand that, but surely some small reduction in the amount could have been possible. It was a really upsetting experience in an already stressful situation, and felt completely unfriendly toward customers. We'll never book here again and wouldn't recommend it.

The owners were especially lovely, checking how we were doing and always happy to chat. We were so pleased with our stay that we'd like to return next year. Our two-room apartment at Villa Bergfried was a quiet, comfortable place to unwind, and we had everything we needed. It looked onto the courtyard, though how peaceful it is also depends on the other guests. Outside there was patio furniture and clotheslines, both useful for a summer seaside holiday. Everything was exceptionally clean, well cared for, and tastefully decorated. The kitchenette had all the equipment we needed to cook. The location was great too, just a few steps from the beach, promenade, pedestrian area, bus stop, and more. It finally made that long-awaited Baltic Sea holiday happen, and we came away feeling completely relaxed. Many thanks again from Angela and Armin H.

The Püll family puts a lot of heart into renting this place. The villa is clean, well kept, and has everything you need. It's close to the beach and right in the middle of things, but still quiet. Looking forward to coming back.

The Püll family are such lovely landlords, thank you! I feel at home here every year. The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything I need.
