That balcony was lovely, and the living room, bedroom, and hallway had plenty of space. There’s also a little storage room by the apartment entrance. The duvets and towels were provided, which was handy, but the kitchen didn’t have an oven, so it’s best to check what’s there before buying groceries. The bathroom was very small. Anyone around 2 meters tall or over 110 kg would have a hard time using the toilet. Parking was awkward too. In peak season, C1 and C2 probably only work for Smart drivers, since there’s hardly room to maneuver. C3 and C4 are only suitable for cars under 4 meters because of the overhanging balcony and the tree in front. We weren’t completely satisfied. The mattresses were worn, and the stove and lights were dated. I’m not looking for luxury, but being able to sleep comfortably and save a kilowatt or two of electricity seems like a basic expectation.

We had a great view of the lake from the back and a pleasant balcony, and the dog beach was only a few minutes away on foot. The service was excellent, and the small holiday apartment was lovely. We spent a long weekend there with our dog. The bathroom was cramped, though. If you have a larger belly, getting to the toilet between the sink and shower is a struggle. The designers really hadn’t thought that through.

We booked apartment 3a at Am Schloonsee 31a at very short notice in August, and were surprised by how clean and spacious it was. Booking was quick and easy too. We’d love to return. Usedom is lovely for swimming, with its white sandy beach. The area is flat and open, so hiking and walking are great, and the promenade from Bansin to Ahlbeck is fantastic. Cycling was wonderful too. I could go on about how lovely the holiday was, but we just have to come back! 🤗⛵⚓🤗

The beach is just a 5-minute walk away, and it was handy to have use of a washing machine and dryer. We had a very nice holiday apartment, and the reception was always friendly and helpful.

A great place to stay between the Heringsdorf and Bansin piers, so there's plenty to do. The price includes all costs, the beds are made up, and towels are supplied in the bathroom. Highly recommended.
