Ammersee Hotel

The spa access was a real treat, and the bed was big, soft, and comfortable. I did think the stay was overpriced, though. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been updated since the 80s, and paying €20,- to park at the hotel felt steep when the spot wasn't gated or secured.

Breakfast was great, but dinner felt mediocre for how expensive it was. The service was poor too. Housekeeping left us without toilet paper one evening and didn't replace our used coffee cups or bring fresh coffee. We also came back to find the door open.

We held our Management Meeting here and enjoyed everything. It's a very nice hotel in Ammersee, and I'd recommend it.

I only got a look at the Ammersee hotel while passing by, but the setting was beautiful. There were people picnicking along the lake and walking the path in front, with boats parked outside and even a houseboat. The lake is so big I didn't finish my walk. The hotel itself didn't look very large, and its rooms had balconies facing the water. The ground-floor restaurant was busy, with diners also looking out over the lake. There were lots of other restaurants nearby too, and the hotel seems to have plenty to offer people on holiday.
