Andechser Hof

The place is nicely decorated and the service was efficient. The other dishes were fine, but the store-bought Kartoffelknödel tasted wrong, and I felt nauseous and threw up later that day. In response to the reply, badly prepared food can upset your digestive system. As a customer, I would've felt better if the response had simply apologized for the mistake.

I had the wild pig, and it was so tender it melted in my mouth. The sauce was delicious, and the potatoes were crisp outside and buttery in the middle. The menu is short but thoughtfully put together, and the food was fantastic. Inside, the atmosphere leans more trendy than Bavarian. The polite, quick server was friendly too, which can be rare around here. I'd recommend it for a special occasion if you've got the money. This definitely isn't a pretzel and roast chicken kind of place.

The restaurant food was fantastic, and the lounge is a lovely spot to relax with a drink. I came for a company evening event, and the place is right across the road from the train station. I'd definitely recommend coming for dinner and an evening out. Hopefully I'll return next time I'm in Germany.

This family-run business combines a hotel with an independent seniors' residence, which is a great setup. Buffet breakfast is included in the hotel rate Monday to Friday. There isn't any staff during holidays.
