The best part for me was how warm and helpful the hosts were, along with the attentive staff. Everything was clean, neat, and cared for, and the breakfast buffet was generous and tasty. The whole place sits on a large plot surrounded by nature, with guesthouses in a classic North German style. The buildings have been lovingly restored or newly built, and their elegant, welcoming feel carries through to the furnishings and the little park. The value for money is exemplary. It’s hard to write about the "Village House" in Volkse without smiling and remembering the stay. I came looking for peace and a pleasant atmosphere in a typical Lower Saxon landscape, and felt right at home. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Thanks to the team at the "Village House."

The rooms have enough equipment, and the place is mainly geared toward people attending trade fairs. The hall is spacious and works well for all sorts of celebrations.
