The bathroom in Room #2 had been renovated recently, though it was a bit cramped. The room itself looked like it hadn't been updated since the early 1970s, but it was spotless. Brauerei Gasthof Kraus works well if all you need is a simple place to sleep.

The rooms were nothing fancy, but they were warm, clean, and good value. Breakfast was solid, with typical German cheeses and sausages, plus vegetarian choices. You can also get vegetarian food from the regular menu. We spent a weekend there, and the restaurant felt warm and cozy, with deer hunting as its main theme. The traditional Franconian food was good, and the beer was very good. I had the Pfefferkarpfen, baked carp with black pepper and salad, and it was excellent. It's recommended if you're there between September and April.

There's more food on the plate than a French stomach can manage, at least for me. On a beautiful day, having lunch outside here was a pleasure, and the people were welcoming. Their own beer, pictured with the ladyboss, makes an affordable souvenir. Enjoy!

After a pleasant ride along the Main-Donau-Kanal, this Biergarten was just where I wanted to take a break. The food was tasty and affordable, and they serve nice drinks from their own local brewery.
