We haven’t stayed at the hotel, but we’ve had their Friday evening buffet and it’s great!

Not a thing to fault, everything was just right.

That evening pause in the lounge by the fireplace was a highlight after each day. We spent three nights at Parkhotel Hitzacker with a group of 40 and all felt at ease. Meals were a real treat, with plenty of choice at both breakfast and dinner, and the staff were warm and quick to help throughout. Parkhotel Hitzacker will stay a lovely memory for us.

The place has a cozy feel, nothing like the sterile atmosphere of many newer hotels. I was there for a preventative health trip, and the staff were so friendly. Some parts are a little dated, as other reviewers have said, but everything was clean and neat. I think that lived-in character is part of its charm.
