Hotel Riesenbeck - Self Check-In

The region is lovely for hiking and cycling, and Münster is only about 40-45 minutes away by car, making this a great base for a weekend getaway. It's the most beautiful hotel I've stayed at. The 24/7 self-service setup is amazing, and the staff are caring and kind, and really want you to feel comfortable. Simply amazing, a definite must visit.

We'd absolutely come back. We'd been traveling around Germany and this was the best of the six hotels we'd stayed at over two weeks. It felt like a real home, and the owner or manager was so welcoming, showed us what was available and made us feel appreciated. The large renovated rooms were a highlight, especially the spacious bathroom and relaxing walk-in shower. There's free coffee and tea, a lobby workspace with charging cords, soup and bread, beer for purchase, and towels, pillows and blankets available whenever you need them. It's just 20 minutes from FMO airport. Too bad we could only stay one night.

This was a lovely surprise on our stopover between Germany and Amsterdam. The hosts are incredibly kind, and there's a self-service wine bar as well as free coffee and tea. It also feels very family-friendly, with board games and a PlayStation in the dining area. Highly recommend!

A really relaxing lobby, lounge and bar, with a self-service bar and complimentary high-quality tea and coffee available around the clock. I liked that we could bring takeaway food and eat at the dining tables with proper cutlery and plates, which felt more comfortable than most restaurants. Brilliant hotel for the price. The owner was considerate, and it's clear they put a lot of thought and effort into the design.
