Sunrise Pfronten

The chalet has an old-fashioned feel, with several seating areas in the suite where you can take in those incredible views. We had a comfortable bed, plenty of sockets, a lockable safety cupboard, a kettle, hairdryer and TV. It was affordable and good value, too. For a simple, comfy place in an area of outstanding natural beauty, it fits the bill. We only stopped over, but if we'd stayed longer we would have bought tea and coffee.

We paid 35€ per night, which felt like good value. On our first night we were even given a free upgrade. We stayed in two rooms on different floors, Room 18 and Room 3, and both seemed clean and comfortable based on our own experience. Steffen, the Guesthouse owner, was quick to respond, kind, helpful, and trustworthy. I'd read some older reviews from more than six months ago, but can't say what those guests experienced.

The owner was really nice, and our room was huge, with towels, a hairdryer, TV, and a beautiful mountain view. It's not a fancy new hotel, but it was clean and well equipped, and the price is low for this area. I also liked the vintage Bavarian style. Recommend.

After riding our motorcycles through Germany, it was lovely to wake up to cowbells and fresh Alpine air. The view was amazing, we slept really well, and the service was super nice. There's a pleasant rustic feel to the place. Can only recommend it!
