The setting and scenery were lovely, and our hosts were kind and helpful. We had a good stay overall. The rooms were roomy, though the beds and pillows could have been more comfortable. The bathroom had shampoo, hand wash, and a hairdryer. Cleaning and fresh towels were available on request. There was no air conditioning, but we didn't need it during our August visit. Thanks for a nice experience.

It was quiet, clean, and comfortable out in the countryside, with a friendly host and a good breakfast. You can head straight out for some lovely hikes, and Wolfach is only about eight minutes away by car. It's worth visiting.

The room was spacious, and the sound of a little stream along with a nearby church made the stay feel special. The hotel was clean, easy to find, and the staff were really friendly. We came for a midweek trip to the Black Forest and would stay here again.

Please be careful with this hotel. We arrived at 9:30 pm and found it closed, so we had nowhere to spend the night and had to go to another hotel. A few days later, we still hadn't got our money back. This was not handled seriously.

We travelled from England with our children for a family holiday, but the owner was hostile and refused to let us in. The kids were tired and frightened by the way he treated us. We ended up calling the police for help, then looking for somewhere else to stay around midnight and paying three times what we expected. The owner also posted a review under our name that we say was fake, and replied to it. We have proof of what happened. This felt like fraud and deception. Don't book here or give this dishonest person your money. We had a horrible experience.
