Villa Dornröschen

The friendly welcome from the owner, excellent beds and towels, and good location near the town center were real pluses. The kitchen and terrace were good too, with two ovens, a microwave, and Aldi and Edeka nearby. Still, the layout needs thought. With so few walls and the only sleeping area in the living room, everyone can see and hear you while you exercise, and the fireplace is in that same room. Apart from one room with a very low ceiling, it all feels like one open space. The kitchen table being glued to the floor is still a mystery to me 🤔 The uneven floors and stairs took us a few days to get used to, and the shower floor is very soft and sags. There are two toilets, though one is more of a makeshift one, almost like a laundry room. Anyone over 1.70m may hit the bathroom beam, but that's a small annoyance. The house was presumably built in 1707, so we weren't expecting miracles, and Harry Potter fans will feel at home. One other tip: avoid the nearby kebab shop.
