The Black Forest views were fantastic, and the place was clean and tidy. Our room was comfortable and a good size, and the restaurant food was fantastic. The staff were caring and attentive. One small thing, a kettle in the room would have been nice. We had an excellent stay and will be back.

We had a really relaxing stay in a beautiful area. Breakfast was delicious, and the room was very comfortable. This is a lovely family-run hotel, with great service and real attention to detail. We also had a superb evening meal featuring local dishes and produce.

The menus were in English, and the prices were very reasonable. We sat in a lovely room with wood paneling. The portions were huge, and the food was seriously good, cooked to a high standard.

The hotel sits in a beautiful spot, and our room was large and clean. Guest rooms start on the second floor. The bathroom has a shower, no tub, and it's easy to adjust the water temperature. There's a TV of average size and free Wi-Fi, but no coffee machine or kettle. A hair dryer is provided, though there are no slippers, and we received a complimentary drink. Parking is free. The reception staff were very friendly. Breakfast isn't served at the hotel, but they can book it for you at Bäckerei & Dorfcafé Kaltenbach next door. The large restaurant is on the ground floor, and the cooking is excellent. I highly recommend trying it. It may be the best in town.

The decor is beautiful, the views are wonderful, and the food was amazing. The caring staff gave us such attentive service that five stars hardly seems enough to show how much this place stands out. Thanks to the team for a great evening.
