That view was a treat with morning coffee and again while we grilled in the evening, even with the north’s quick weather changes. Our group of 12 had a relaxed weekend at the lakeside house, and there was enough equipment for all of us to eat and drink comfortably. Wi-Fi was the one drawback, though that may be a dated complaint; coverage from some providers was poor. We were all pleased with the stay, and I’d choose this house again if we get the chance.

From outside, the "House by the Gravel Pit Lake" sits in a lovely spot, and the apartments had good kitchen equipment. The rest was disappointing: construction noise from next door started early, so sleeping in wasn't possible, and the neighbor's rooster crowed at sunrise. The two pillows were awful, and the 1.40m mattress was thin and worn. The brochure advertised a bathing lake, but swimming there was prohibited.
