The bathroom tiles were filthy, and the room itself was dirty and worn out. After paying €55.00 a night, I couldn't face the second night I'd booked and left early. In all my years working as an assembly worker, I'd never encountered anything like it. I might as well have camped outside. At least I'd have known what to expect, and it would surely have been more hygienic.
