We booked the Panoramablick apartment two years ahead, based on a recommendation from our former landlady, who had closed her business. We’d already been in touch with the friendly owners before the trip, and when we finally arrived, the place lived up to what we’d hoped for. It’s comfortably furnished, and the kitchen has everything we needed, including a dishwasher, oven, microwave, and a fridge with a large freezer compartment. We especially enjoyed the covered terrace and the garden, with plenty of shady places to sit. Wi-Fi is available too. The tourist tax includes a KONUS card for public transport across the Black Forest, covering buses, trams, and local trains for the length of your stay. Engel, the stop for bus 21, is about 200 metres away. Buses run hourly, and with a tram connection you can reach Freiburg city centre in around 30 minutes. We’d happily recommend the apartment.
