The peaceful view behind the hotel, with birds calling now and then, made this a lovely place to stay near Prum. Das Landhaus sits just outside town, away from city noise, though it’s only a two-minute drive in. The staff were warm and accommodating, and breakfast was excellent, with eggs and bacon made to order if you want them.

There was a bug in my room in winter, and I’m scared of bugs. With no help from the phone or brochure, it was a terrible experience for me. I first called it a roach because I didn’t dare look closely. After talking with the staff, I learned it wasn’t a roach, just a bug that gets into rooms in winter. Make sure the window is shut tight.

The price was reasonable, parking was easy, and breakfast was very good. I found the rooms spacious, modern, and very clean. It’s a small owner-run hotel in a small town, and most tourists probably aren’t coming to this area. I stayed there September 7-9, 2018, because I’d been stationed at the nearby Pruem Air Station radar site and had friends to visit. I think it’s the best place to stay around Pruem, and I’ll stay there again next time I’m in the area.
