Schloß Hornberg

The owner and his wife were so kind and helpful. When the lady saw us climbing the hill to the hotel, she gave us a lift. She also let us see their underground caves, which they use for special occasions and can be rented for celebrations. Being underneath the mountain, in a part of the medieval fortress, was a great experience. We loved the views from our room and around the hotel. The buffet breakfast and dinner were delicious, and everyone was friendly. This was the best hotel we've stayed at so far on this year's Europe tour, and we're already planning to come back soon.

The room was okay, and the hotel sits on a hill with nice views from the breakfast room. Breakfast was great, the staff were very nice, and our extra bed arrived straight away.

We’ve been here twice now and enjoyed both visits, so we’ll come back again before the year is over. The staff were friendly, our room was spacious and comfortable, and all the windows brought in loads of natural light. There are plenty of walking trails nearby, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The restaurant was excellent too.

We only got to spend one night at the Schloss and were sorry to leave so soon. Next time, we’ll stay longer. The rooms felt a little dated, but they were in perfect shape and spotlessly clean, so we were very comfortable. The views toward the nearby valley town were stunning, and the building felt magical, with green, relaxing surroundings. We enjoyed an easy walk to the nearby ruins, and the kids loved the playground along the way. At the on-site restaurant, the regional dishes and beers were delicious, and the staff were very accommodating with our young children. The breakfast buffet was fresh and high quality, with lots of options, including fresh waffles.
