The area is quiet and well located for getting around. Supermarkets and a drugstore are only a 3-minute drive away. We really liked the little house: it was clean and had everything we needed. The little Advent wreath was a cute touch, and although we don’t watch much TV, we really enjoyed the Ambilight television. We didn’t use the sauna, but it would surely have been nice. Maybe next time. The owners replied quickly on WhatsApp without being intrusive. We hardly saw them. Overall, it was a very good place to stay.

We were very satisfied overall. The place is spacious and clean, and the hostess is friendly. A couple of things weren’t ideal: the sofa is extremely soft, so you sink into it quite a bit, and the bathroom skylight has no curtain or anything like one. In theory, someone in the house opposite could see inside.

The large bedroom looks out onto the bypass, so it does get noisy. The basement was being renovated during our stay, and the garden furniture could use a clean. Still, it's a beautiful house, and everything else was great. Husum town and the harbor are about a half-hour walk away, so a car or bicycle is useful.

The hostess was so friendly and relaxed. The house is comfortable, and its location worked well for day trips all along the coast.

The whole house had a really strong sewage smell, and the cleaning was poor too, with lots of dust under the sofa and elsewhere. It is a beautiful holiday home, which made that especially disappointing.
