There was no internet, and my O2 phone had no signal at all. A Vodaphone phone got a little reception, enough for messages. The house rules also asked us not to come back after 10pm, which in this area pretty much means bedtime at ten. The house itself was clean and well maintained, with a TV and two bedrooms for four. It sits high in the Black Forest with lovely views, and nights were very quiet with almost no traffic. It would suit people who want to spend the day walking and come back to rest. Shopping and food meant a reasonable drive to the next town, which had OK facilities and was nice to visit.

A roomy apartment in a lovely part of the Black Forest, and very good value. The host was nice too.
