Olly, the chef, helped us solve one of his geocache puzzles and made us feel really welcome in town. His 12-stage route took about an hour on foot and showed us a dozen historic buildings, which we could compare with photos in the local museum archives. What a great way to see the place. We were lucky to get the last room after arriving on the spur of the moment. The hotel website had looked reassuring, and check-in was quick. Our room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed. It was muggy and extremely hot outside, though, and there was no air-conditioning. Opening the window and curtains helped it cool down later in the evening, so we slept fine. Breakfast was included in our room price and the buffet was enjoyable. They even had hazelnut spread, basically Nutella, in a pump dispenser. I managed not to put it on everything, though Nutella on bacon did cross my mind!

The restaurant food was consistently tasty, and everyone on staff was warm and welcoming. I stayed in one of the apartments for two weeks. It was clean, roomy, and had plenty of amenities. I'd happily stay here again.

I was here on a work trip and found the rooms spacious, clean, and modern. The first night was harder to sleep because my room had no climate control. Breakfast and dinner were both good. I didn't try the wellness facilities or explore the surrounding area.

Traveling somewhere you don't speak the language can be difficult, but the staff took good care of me. My luggage didn't arrive until Tuesday, after I got there on Sunday, and they made sure I was all right in the meantime. The food was excellent, and everyone was very friendly.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, spacious, clean room. The restaurant food was nice, and breakfast was good too.
