The climb up to the hotel can be challenging if you're not used to steep roads and limited visibility, but there's free parking right across from it. Once there, we found a spacious, clean room with a small balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bistro takes orders until 8 PM, and the €5 breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit, hot dishes, and good coffee. It's a good hotel on top of a hill.

The staff were quite helpful when we asked about checking in late. The cleaning was okay, and breakfast had a good range of choices. A really nice hotel.

The drive up feels a bit strange, but once you're there the location is perfectly fine. The rooms are a little dated, though the food is good and the staff are really nice. I stayed for two days, and the girl from the restaurant greeted me with such a sweet smile. The owner ought to give her a big raise!

I came for some quiet away from city life in NL, and enjoyed lots of walks with my dog and girlfriend while exploring the beautiful area. I especially wanted the mining experience, which is a must see for rock and mineral collectors. The hotel was peaceful, and breakfast had more than enough for most tastes. The dinner restaurant is cozy and well worth a visit. Finding the place and getting up the hill can be tricky, but follow the Sat nav and take the dirt road.
