The hosts were the best part of our two nights at Hofgarten Rosa. They took care with every little detail, made room for a special request that wasn’t standard, and made us feel at home. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. The location was lovely, our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was too. Breakfast was amazing. Vielen Dank!

We keep stopping here on our trips back to Germany from France, probably three or four times now. The hosts are so friendly and flexible. On our first trip with the baby, they booked us the suite room for the normal price and worked around our late night check-in. Breakfast is delicious, with cheese, ham, homemade marmalade, eggs, cakes and warm bread. The vintage crockery is elegant, the rooms are tastefully decorated, and the beds are very comfortable.

The courtyard at Hofgarten Rosa is a lovely place to sit together and chat, and the whole place feels almost like coming home to us. Marion and Jens clearly put so much care and taste into every room, and what they’ve created is admirable. There’s a generous, delicious breakfast buffet, wonderful cakes, and a little shop that’s always worth a look.

We found some very good restaurants nearby, all within easy walking distance, and there’s parking as well as secure bicycle storage. The one drawback for us was that the wine prices seemed rather high for the Palatinate region. Breakfast was excellent, plentiful, and the rooms were clean, charmingly furnished, and very good. The whole property has lovely attention to detail. We arrived a little early and the initial reception was mixed, but the owners turned out to be very friendly. We’d definitely stay at Hofgarten Rosa again and recommend it.
