We’ve stayed here several times and plan to keep coming back. It’s a dreamy little town with beautiful surroundings, and we leave feeling rested and relaxed. The fully equipped apartment sits in a picturesque landscape that suits hikers and stressed city dwellers alike, and the host creates a friendly atmosphere. It’s also very convenient for families: Ilmenau has a holiday camp 5km away where the little ones are in good hands. Our oldest always wants to go back!

The large, comfortable holiday apartment is in a beautiful setting with a lovely view, and the quiet made for a truly relaxing stay. The landlord gave us a very warm welcome, and we felt right at home. We’d love to come back.

You can set off hiking right from the house, and there’s a small shop and restaurant a 15-minute walk away. Parking was easy, with a carport and public spaces at the house, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout. We stayed over Easter, and everything from arrival to departure was PERFECT!!! The apartment is spacious, fully furnished, very clean, and in excellent condition. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.

The landlord was such a nice person and made me feel at home. I had a wonderful 7 days in beautiful Thuringia and will be back next year. This was the best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in! Everything was provided, from the box spring bed and comfy couch to the TV, even an egg piercer in the kitchen! 🤣👍🤣

We’re absolutely thrilled to be back for our third year. The apartment is beautiful, modernly furnished, and very tidy and clean. The host is incredibly friendly, too, and it’s all in the idyllic village of Manebach. Highly recommended!
