Kuschel's Panorama Landhaus

Akams is a tiny, very quiet village and a great base for excursions. We went snowshoeing in nearby Kleinwalsertal and took a winter walk near the large Alpsee lake. The four of us spent a winter weekend in the beautiful Panorama Country House, and we'd gladly return for a longer stay next time. The owners communicated quickly and were very friendly. The holiday apartment had fantastic amenities, and both the in-house sauna and garden were perfect.

It was so hard to leave. The hosts were kind, warm, and attentive, always available to help, and personally welcomed us when we arrived and left. Our stay was absolutely fantastic, five stars plus. The cozy apartments were clean, beautifully furnished, and had a stunning mountain view. Everything was provided for dogs, and cats were welcome too. We could relax completely, with parking in front, direct access, and a lovely garden. Restaurants were close by, and the bread delivery service could leave our order safely at the door. They took care of everything. The peaceful area has wonderful walking trails, and everything is easy to reach by car. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

The apartment was spotless, thoughtfully furnished, and had everything we needed, including a superbly equipped kitchen. We spent five days over New Year's Eve in the Illertal apartment with our two dogs, and there's nothing but good to say about the stay. The sauna area was great too, with fresh towels always available, tea to make, and a fantastic choice of sauna infusions. It was a SUPER GREAT vacation. We chose Akams specifically to avoid the annual fireworks. There weren't any until three hours before New Year's Eve, but then quite a few went off. The restaurant, "Die Lustige Hirsch" (The Merry Deer), had a New Year's Eve menu, so guests were certainly treated to something special. Things were quiet from 12:30 a.m. and we could finally sleep. The garden was lovely and large, and everyone felt at home, whether child or dog. We had a great apartment with a superbly equipped kitchen, a magnificent view from the terrace, and a cozy little sauna area. The hosts were very friendly and clearly loved animals. Thanks so much for a wonderful, relaxing stay. We'll definitely be back!
