My wife and I had a really nice day at the Therme. We especially enjoyed the sauna master’s Aufguss, and he seemed to be having a great time too. The full-day ticket also includes a tasty lunch buffet.

We ate really well at the restaurant, and there are lots of different saunas to choose from. The charming cottage by the river, with its fireplace, makes it a lovely place to relax. A weekday visit is probably best if you want to reset and unwind.

I liked the lake sauna most for its size and the view over the water. There’s usually a seat, and you can walk straight into the lake after a session, which is especially refreshing in winter. The sauna there runs automatically, while the other sauna area has live infusions. There’s also an ice area and two walk-through showers with cold and hot water. I found all the pools too cold and didn’t spend any time in them. The quiet area didn’t work for me. The blankets felt cheap, there was a bad smell, and the beds in the lake sauna weren’t relaxing. The library area is a little nicer, but too small. The Therme has four saunas and is nice overall, though it could be more comfortable.

The Seesauna is a highlight, with a view of the lake while you sit in 80°C heat, and the option of a cold lake dip afterwards. The spa is right on the shore in a beautiful setting. There are other saunas and a steam bath, plus salt pools and a larger swimming pool.

The lake sauna was the only part I enjoyed. The kitchen shuts at 7pm, and the food is expensive and poor quality. For the same price, I’d much rather go to Vabali in Berlin, where the experience is ten times better. The lighting is terrible and the place has no sense of customer experience. Overall, very underwhelming.
