homie stay Julius Apartments - Iphofen

The place is cozy, stylish, and very well kept. Getting in was easy too, with quick online check-in, and the phone support was friendly and attentive. It felt like home.

The amenities were all I needed, and everything matched the description. I could only reach management by phone, but they were friendly and helpful. I was very satisfied.

We enjoyed the stay, and the bright attic apartment was beautiful, in an excellent location. Check-in went smoothly. Still, several of the nice ideas felt unfinished. There was a washing machine but nowhere to hang laundry, and the photos showed a capsule coffee machine stocked with coffee, but there was no coffee service. We found only two forks, though there were enough knives, so that clearly hadn’t been checked. The shower door was broken, and there was no vacuum for the kitchen-living room, even though an iron and ironing board attachment were provided. The bed’s wooden dowels were loose, and I had to hold it together temporarily with a ratchet strap. I complained, but nobody came to fix it. I wouldn’t usually leave a review because we generally had a pleasant stay. But I asked whether a discount might be possible, specifically 10% on this booking, and only got an answer after asking repeatedly. It was then rejected, so I wanted to share what happened.

We’ve stayed here several times because the apartments are modern, quite nice, and in a good location. But during our last stay in February, one apartment still had its trash, while the other hadn’t been cleaned at all. Damp, visibly used hand and kitchen towels were left out, the bed hadn’t been stripped, the bathroom was dirty, and there was just one coffee capsule. At least we found fresh towels and a bed sheet in the broom closet, though there was no duvet cover. No one at the management office answered the phone at 5:00 PM, and we had no reply to our email by late morning the next day. When we called again, an employee politely apologized and said they’d handle it right away and get back to us. By the morning of day three, nothing had happened, so we left early, angry and disappointed. We also got no response to another very clear email sent 10 days ago. There’s clearly a serious housekeeping problem. This is how you lose loyal guests. What a shame!
