Hotel Koch Schilt

We were about 70 people at dinner, so I expected the food might not be great, as often happens with large groups. I was pleasantly surprised. The starter buffet was cold and the main buffet was warm, with everything well prepared and good quality. The price was more than decent too. A lovely surprise for German cuisine.

We went again for Valentine’s Day yesterday, and it was amazing as always. My boyfriend and I have been here many times and every visit has been really good. The service is top-notch, and the food is super tasty. It's the best restaurant in Irrel. We'll definitely keep coming back 🤗

The people were polite, which was one good thing. But it's an old-fashioned hotel, and you have to cross the street to reach the guest rooms. The carpet wasn't clean, and there was no shampoo in the bathroom, only at reception. For the same price, I stayed at a Holiday Inn in Frankfurt. I wouldn't pay more than €40 for this place.

I was told it's a good hotel in the town center. I would have stayed there, but it was fully booked.
