The food was really tasty and felt good quality, though as foreign tourists we couldn't say if it was authentic. The staff were lovely and accommodating, and the room was clean and roomy, even if the style was a little old-fashioned. Everything worked perfectly. It's a small local hotel not too far from Munich airport, and we had a pleasant stay.

The Biergarten has a nice summer menu, with good vegetarian and even vegan choices. All four of us ordered the PANIERTEN PUTENSCHNITZEL MIT KARTOFFEL UND GURKENSALLAT, and we all agreed it was the best schnitzel we'd had in a long time. Really delicious! In the lovely little village of Isen, this is a very typical Bavarian Gasthaus. The rooms are clean and nice, renovated only a few years ago. The man at reception was kind and helpful, and so was the woman in the restaurant. We recommend it!
