We had a ski weekend here in January and found the hotel wonderfully charming and cozy. The room was just what we expected, and both the restaurant food and breakfast were impeccable. The fair, reasonable price for the quality is a big reason we'd return, especially compared with many other places nearby. Until next time! 😊

We had dinner there twice while on holiday in Reit im Winkl, and the food was delicious both times. The soup with pancakes was especially tasty, and the dumpling dishes were exceptional. We'll definitely be back.

For 16 years, I've spent winter holidays at Sonneck. It feels like home, and the place shaped my childhood. The food is honest Bavarian cooking, served in huge portions at prices you really can't complain about. It still tastes the way I remember: rustic and without any fuss. You feel welcome and always want to come back.
