The breakfast used to be the best part of staying here, with lots of good choices. Lately, though, the juice dispensers are often empty, the pancakes are rock hard, and the fruit and bread seem less fresh. For what the room costs, I expect better. I've stayed here many times over the past three years, mostly for work, and it used to be a nice place. The rooms were never amazing, but they were fine. In the last five months, cleanliness has slipped badly. For instance, in several rooms I've used recently, big mats of dust have been hanging from the bathroom vents. I've also heard odd pipe noises, and the bathroom ventilation has woken me in the middle of the night more than once. The food itself isn't a disaster; I just need something to get me through until lunch.

The rooms are spacious, and it's quiet since the hotel sits outside the center. I like the retro decor, with pictures of people like Merlin Monroe and Humphrey Bogart. Breakfast is the same each time, but it's tasty and there's something for everyone.

It's a practical choice for a work trip, with the Jenoptik campus and university hospital both within walking distance. The location feels a little odd, at the end of an 1980s commie block. Breakfast is good and the place is clean, though it looks dated. Some wear and maintenance issues show up here and there on the carpets and insulation.

The rooms are fine and there's a decent breakfast selection. The WiFi, though, is painfully slow, around 1 mb/s.

The beds are really cosy and the place has all the comfort you need. It's a nice modern hotel, although being near the train station makes it a bit noisy. The water in the bathroom sink wasn't working when I was there.
