The grounds are beautiful and decorated with real care, and the rooms are clean and inexpensive. The staff are friendly as all hell, and the food is to die for, with authentic homemade German dishes. Love this place. Highly recommend.

After a hike, the newly renovated wellness area is a lovely place to unwind, and it’s an awesome feature of this friendly, family run hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the setting is quiet. As of September 2021, Covid measures meant you had to book the wellness area in advance. Roadworks currently block the approach from the town side, so come from the south via the L52 and ignore the stop signs.

We were happy we stayed here. The hotel has a nice SPA, and breakfast was good. It’s in a really quiet area right beside a forest with some beautiful walks. Kaisersechs is also an ideal base for driving to the Cochem-Koblenz area.

The wellness area was a great addition, and our 11 km walk from the hotel ended up being the weekend’s best experience. It’s a friendly family hotel.
