The place is clean and well put together, but the service wasn’t okay. At one event I ordered a beer and was told they didn’t have any, even though the person next to me had one. Then the drinks my wife and I ordered took over an hour to arrive. On another visit we ordered two dinners that never came. We were repeatedly told they’d be out shortly, but after 45 minutes, when our friends and family had finished eating, staff asked what we’d ordered again and said they’d have it made. They’d given our original order to another table along with that table’s food.

We stopped for one night on the way back from vacation. The rooms were small but tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant food was super delicious, and we’d come back to try other dishes. It was very busy with groups, so service was a bit slow and we had to chase the waitress down several times to order. The staff were nice and friendly, though, so we didn’t mind much. Breakfast was a little disappointing: there wasn’t much choice, and things guests had eaten or drunk, like orange juice and boiled eggs, weren’t replenished.

I ate here nearly every night after arriving in Germany. The location is picturesque, and the food is amazing. The staff are absolutely wonderful, too. There are also longer-term lodging accommodations next door by Judith Kern, which were extremely perfect. Highest recommendation!

We loved the ambiance here, and the food and drinks were delicious. There are a few vegan and vegetarian options. Outside, you can spot horses or take a short hike up the mountain. Such a cool spot!
