The location has some conveniences: an S-bahn station nearby for quick trips around the city, a supermarket around the corner, and a few cafes and restaurants within a 15-minute walk. But our stay was a poor experience, and the apartment felt way overpriced even apart from the other problems. For the first two days of our four-day stay, we had no hot water. We arrived Sunday and couldn’t reach the property; Monday was a public holiday. Reception opened Tuesday morning, and after we reported it, we didn’t get a solution until that afternoon, when they moved us to another room. There was no refund or other compensation. The replacement room was bigger, but had its own problems: a persistent bad smell in the bathroom, a loud extractor fan that ran all the time, and a loose kitchen tap. Both rooms looked clean at first, but we soon saw stains on the walls and beside the bed, plus dust and crumbs under the bed. The kitchen lacked basics too, including properly fitting pot lids, a strainer, and a dish drying rack. Noise started outside by 7AM, with construction and supermarket deliveries. Closing the windows helped with the noise, but without A/C the room got warm and stuffy.

The staff and housekeepers were kind and helpful. Just keep in mind that if you visit Germany on a public holiday, staff may not be around, so be careful with the key and don’t lock yourself out. I really liked this place. It was convenient, safe, and pleasant, with a studio-style layout containing a kitchen, bed, and shower room. The neighborhood was quiet, so sleeping at night was easy. Donnerbergerbrücke is very close, with a direct line to the airport, and there’s an Edeka nearby for groceries to keep in the fridge. One thing to know if it’s your first trip to Germany, especially in summer: not every place has air conditioning, so don’t be surprised. I’d happily stay here again when I visit München.

It’s a modest, decent place with public transport close by. Staff were friendly and helpful, and you can check in yourself. There’s paid parking on site, or free parking at Hirschgarten, about a 10-minute walk away.

The room and bed were great, and it’s only a few minutes from the metro. There’s a small grocery store around the corner too. We had a great six-night stay in June, and Marie-Ann was especially helpful when our booking got mixed up. Five stars all around.

Edeka is just around the corner, and the neighborhood is quiet. The flat is spacious enough, with a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of closet room, and solid heating. Central Station is only two S-bahn stops away.
