Haus Rheinblick

We liked having breakfast in the TV room, with that lovely Rhine view, and it was tasty too. For someone with a bigger appetite, an extra roll might have helped. The B&B is peaceful, and the shared bathroom was clean and perfectly fine. In the evening, you can have a drink in the same room.

The room was great, and we could also use a balcony and another room where breakfast is served. Breakfast was neat, and the people were really nice, Dutch, and able to speak German. The B&B sits right by the Rhine in a beautiful spot. Its lovely bathroom has both a shower and a bath, and is shared with no more than two other people.

The only downside was the large bathroom shared by two rooms, though the listing had mentioned that. We got a friendly welcome, and the modern room in a private house was very clean. Breakfast was excellent, and the balcony is large, with a view of the Rhine.

We'd checked with them through Booking.com about arriving late and were told it would be fine. But when we got there at 11:20 PM, everything was dark, the building was locked, nobody answered the bell, and the phone only reached an answering machine. We were left without anywhere to stay and had to drive to Arnhem to search for a room. There are very few hotels in Holland with a reception open at night, and we didn't find one until 2:30 AM. I definitely can't recommend this place.
